Moving money in and out of Bliss.

Let's talk about transfers! Party Popper You can access this feature in-app by tapping on the TRANSFER button on the Home Screen.

Within this feature you'll see that there are two ways to transfer funds into the account.
Initiate an external ACH transfer from your other financial institution using your Bliss account number and routing number. This route provides maximum security and can be configured with banking services like bill pay or payroll deposit.
Link your bank account to Bliss via Plaid, so that you can move money directly from within the Bliss app, using an industry-tested and secure platform. Linking an account offers a more direct user experience, but does involve a third-party service.
To initiate a transfer via Link your bank account:
If you haven’t already, tap on “Link your bank account” to add your external account to Bliss via Plaid’s interface. 
Once you have successfully linked your bank account, this button will change to read “Add Funds from [Your Bank].” Tap on this button to initiate the transfer.
On the next screen, tap on the field labeled “Transfer Amount” and type in the dollar amount you wish to transfer.
For a one-time contribution, nothing further is required, skip to Step 4.
For scheduling reoccurring contributions, in the calendar interface beneath the transfer amount, tap on the day(s) of the month you would like Bliss to make that transfer. For example, if you tap the circles labeled 6 and 18, Bliss will transfer in the requested amount on the 6th and 18th of every month.
Tap the “Update” button to complete the transaction (whether one-time or scheduled), or the “Return” button to return to the Bliss home screen.
To initiate a transfer via Get Account Numbers:
Tap on the button that says “Get Bank Account Numbers.”
On the next screen, scroll down until you see the sections titled “Bank Account Number” and “Routing Number.”
You will need to go to the website, app, or a physical bank location for your external financial institution and follow their process to provide the account and routing numbers for your Bliss account and complete the external ACH transfer.
External Transfers Out
When it comes to spending, the best way to utilize your funds is with the Bliss debit card in order to earn TimeBack rewards on the purchase. But for situations when you are not able to use the debit card, there are two ways to transfer funds out of the Bliss account.

Initiate an external ACH transfer from your other financial institution using your Bliss account number and routing number. This route provides maximum security and can be configured with banking services like bill pay, payroll deposit, or external bank transfers.
Link your bank account to Bliss via Plaid, so that you can move money directly from within the Bliss app, using an industry-tested and secure platform. Linking an account offers a more direct user experience, but does involve a third-party service.


To initiate an external transfer:
From the Bliss home screen, tap on the TRANSFER menu button.
Scroll down to see the Transfer Out of Bliss section.
On the next screen, Bliss will present your two options for initiating the external transfer.
Option 1 will either say “Link your bank account” or ”Transfer Out to [Your Bank], depending on whether you have already linked a bank account via Plaid.
Option 2 will say “Get Bank Account Numbers.”
To initiate a transfer via Link a bank account:
If you haven’t already, tap on “Link your bank account” to add your external account to Bliss via Plaid’s interface. 
Once you have successfully linked your bank account, this button will change to read “Transfer Out to [Your Bank].” Tap on this button to initiate the transfer.
On the next screen, tap on the field under “Please select the amount you want to transfer out:” and type in the dollar amount you are transferring.
Tap the “Transfer Out” button to complete the transaction, or the “Return” button to return to the Bliss home screen.
Once you have tapped “Transfer Out” to complete the transaction, you will be taken to a confirmation screen confirming the transfer out. Tap on the “Return” button on this screen to return to the Bliss home screen.
To initiate a transfer via Get Account Numbers:
Tap on the button that says “Get Bank Account Numbers.”
On the next screen, scroll down until you see the sections titled “Bank Account Number” and “Routing Number.”
You will need to go to the website, app, or a physical bank location for your external financial institution and follow their process to provide the account and routing numbers for your Bliss account and complete the external ACH transfer.
