Can I use Direct Deposit with my Bliss Account?

Yes.

We've had a few members inquire about setting up Direct Deposit with their Bliss Accounts, and I wanted to share with all of y'all on how to do that. First, let's start with what a Direct Deposit is:

Direct deposit is a way to receive your money without a paper check. Instead, your employer can send your money straight into your bank account. To begin, you will need a bank account to provide to your employer, who can use your bank information to set up direct deposit and deposit your paycheck into your account regularly.

Direct deposit is convenient because you don't have to cash a check or worry about losing it. Your money goes directly to your bank account, which you can access with a debit card. It's also helpful for receiving other types of money, like tax refunds or government benefits. Be sure to monitor your account and check that everything is correct.

In summary, direct deposits are a simple and secure way to get your money. It saves you the trouble of dealing with paper checks and ensures your money goes straight to your bank account, ready for use.

To set up a Direct Deposit to go into Bliss, here's how you'd go about it:

1 - Log into your account and go to the Home Screen.

2 - Tap on the TRANSFER menu button.

3 - Tap on the button "Get Bank Account Number."

From there, Bliss Members will see their unique bank account number, the routing number, and the additional information (Bank Name, Account Type, Bank Street Address, & Bank City, State & Zip Code) that usually goes hand-in-hand with a direct deposit form.
Some Direct Deposit forms may require your home address and social security number as an FYI!
